Announcement of Offer to Purchase Shares in IMAX China Holding, Inc.
On July 12, 2023, the Company issued a press release announcing its offer to acquire approximately 96.3 million shares not owned by the Company of its Hong Kong-listed subsidiary, IMAX China Holding, Inc., for HK $10.00 per share in cash (the “Transaction”). Copies of the joint announcement and related press release are attached hereto as Exhibits 99.2 and 99.3, respectively, and are incorporated into this Item 8.01 by reference.
