Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
Amendment to Affiliate Line of Credit
On October 10, 2023, Brookfield Real Estate Income Trust Inc. (the “Company”) entered into the Second Amendment (the “Amendment”) to the Uncommitted Unsecured Line of Credit, dated November 2, 2021 (the “Affiliate Line of Credit”), to extend the maturity date of the Affiliate Line of Credit to November 2, 2024. A copy of the Amendment is attached as Exhibit 10.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.

Amended and Restated Valuation Guidelines
On October 9, 2023, the Company’s board of directors approved certain amendments to the Company’s valuation guidelines in order to update the valuation process for single-family rental properties.
