Item 8.01. Other Events.

On June 11, 2021, FS Credit Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its 2021 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (“Annual Meeting”), originally scheduled for June 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, was adjourned, without conducting any business, due to a lack of the required quorum. The adjourned meeting will reconvene on July 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, at the offices of the Company at 201 Rouse Boulevard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19112 to vote on the proposals described in the proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on April 15, 2021. The close of business on April 9, 2021 will continue to be the record date for the determination of stockholders of the Company entitled to vote at the reconvened Annual Meeting.

During the period of the adjournment, the Company will continue to solicit proxies from its stockholders with respect to the proposals set forth in the Company’s proxy statement. Proxies previously submitted in respect of the Annual Meeting will be voted at the adjourned meeting unless properly revoked.

No changes have been made in the proposals to be voted on by stockholders at the Annual Meeting. The Company’s proxy statement and any other materials filed by the Company with the SEC remain unchanged and can be obtained free of charge at the SEC’s website at www.sec.gov.

On June 11, 2021, the Company issued a stockholder communication announcing the adjournment of the Annual Meeting. A copy of this communication is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
