Item 1.04. Mine Safety—Reporting of Shutdowns and Patterns of Violations
On February 10, 2022, Ramaco Resources Land Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Ramaco Resources, Inc. (the “Company”) received an imminent danger order issued by the Mine Safety and Health Administration under section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 at the Big Creek Mine No. 1 located in Jewell Ridge, VA. The order states that there was overhanging loose rock above a loader operator and excavator operator, which resulted in a failure to comply with the Acknowledged Ground Control Plan. The Company took the required corrective action and the order was thereafter terminated.
