Item 8.01 Other Events

 

The Board of Directors of Eastside Distilling, Inc. (the “Company”) has instructed management to explore opportunities for selling all or a portion of the assets dedicated to the Company’s spirits business. The purpose of such a sale would be to reduce the Company’s debt burden, to improve its liquidity, and to enable the Company to focus its resources on the development of the Company’s craft digital can printing business.

 

The Company will sell its spirits assets only for fair value and on terms that management considers to be in the Company’s best interest.
