Supplement dated April 7, 2025
to the currently effective Summary Prospectus, Prospectus and
Statement of Additional Information (the “SAI”) for the
iShares Short Duration Bond Active ETF (NEAR) (the “Fund”)
Effective immediately, Siddharth Mehta is added as a Portfolio Manager for the Fund. Accordingly, effective immediately, the following changes are made:
| 1. | Siddharth Mehta is added as a Portfolio Manager since 2025 to the list of Portfolio Managers in the section of the Fund’s Summary Prospectus entitled Portfolio Managers on page S-7 and Portfolio Managers subsection of the Fund’s Prospectus on page 17. |
| 2. | The following information is added to the Portfolio Managers subsection of the Fund’s Prospectus on page 18: |
Siddharth Mehta has been employed by BFA or its affiliates since 2005. He is a Director of BlackRock, Inc.
| 3. | The following is added to the table listing each Portfolio Manager’s other types of portfolios and/or accounts in the Portfolio Managers subsection on page 65 of the Fund’s SAI: |
