Item 1.04
Mine Safety.

On June 18, 2025, Vulcan Construction Materials, LLC, a subsidiary of Vulcan Materials Company (the “Company”), received an imminent danger order issued by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (“MSHA”) under section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 at its Clear Creek Quarry in Charlotte, North Carolina. The order was issued to remove miners who were shoveling material onto a moving conveyor in a surge tunnel while the top of the tail roller guard was hinged open. No injuries occurred, and the Company took corrective action concerning the incident immediately to protect the miners and terminate the order.
