Item 8.01.

Other Events.

On June 10, 2024, CoreCivic, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it received a notice of termination from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) relating to an inter-governmental service agreement (the “IGSA”) between the Company and ICE for services at the South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley, Texas (the “Facility”) effective in 60 days, or on or about August 9, 2024. The Company’s lease for the Facility permits the Company to terminate the lease agreement with a notification period of at least 60 days. The Company has provided such notice of lease termination to the lessor. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
