Universal Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release on November 12, 2019, discussing its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2019. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 2.02.

On November 12, 2019, the Company issued a press release announcing a quarterly dividend for the Company’s common stock. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
